emmi®-pet is a ultrasonic teeth cleaning treatment that helps sanitize your pup's mouth. The results will vary from dog to dog depending on their oral health. Each pet gets his/her own custom toothbrush head with personalized label to make for some clean pearly whites!

For whom is the emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush appropriate?
In principle, the emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush is appropriate for dogs of all ages and breeds. Thanks to the different sized attachments, the emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush can be used for puppies and small dogs as well as for parent animals and particularly large breeds.
At what age can I use the emmi®-pet for my dogs?
Optimum dental care for dogs starts at a young age at best: regular and conscientious dental care is recommended to effectively prevent tartar in dogs. Even though puppies usually have bright white teeth, it is advisable to get used to dental care in a playful way already at puppy age. The emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush is particularly appropriate for this purpose due to its silent and vibration-free operation.
What are the reasons for bad breath of dogs?
Bad breath of dogs can be caused by a multitude of reasons. These include food residues on or between the teeth or residues from play activities, e.g. wood or fabric residues. Even if these reasons for bad breath in dogs are relatively harmless, they should be taken seriously: Last but not least, they are often the trigger for more serious causes of bad breath in dogs. Ignored in the long term, they can lead to tartar. We recommend prophylactic use of the emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush. In this way, this and thus also long-lasting bad breath in dogs can be avoided.
Is there also an ultrasound cleaning of the dog's teeth without anaesthetic?
Yes, there is an ultrasonic tooth cleaning for dogs without anaesthetic - with our emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush. Thanks to 96 million air vibrations instead of mechanical movements, it cleans your dog's teeth very gently and softly. If used correctly and regularly, the emmi®-pet ultrasonic toothbrush can even prevent you from going to the vet and cleaning your dog's teeth under a risky anaesthetic.
Terms and conditions
- The method of ultrasonic teeth cleaning is highly effective in removing tartar, improving gums, breath odour and overall oral health, Kinsbourne Groomers cannot guarantee the results, effectiveness or suitability for individual pets due to varying external factors. If dogs become distressed or we discover anything likely to cause discomfort to your pet, we will discontinue immediately. The best approach to solve this will then be discussed with you.
- Each pet will have its own toothbrush head that will not be used on another dog. The brush head will need to be replaced after approx. 25 treatments or sooner if required. Some pets may chew the brush head, if this is excessive it may need replacing sooner to maintain effectiveness. Brush heads will require replacing after 1 year regardless of number of times they have been used.
- Toothbrush heads cost £10 each to replace.
- If we feel any teeth are loose or at risk of becoming loose when the tartar comes off, we may request you get your pets’ teeth checked at your veterinarian before treatment. It is possible that the tartar build up will be too great and then a veterinary dental may be necessary initially and then follow up with maintenance visits with us.
- Kinsbourne Groomers cannot be held responsible for any problems occurring from poor dentition before, during or after any teeth cleaning treatments.
- Kinsbourne Groomers ultrasonic teeth brushing using the Emmi-Pet is not a veterinary procedure and Kinsbourne Groomers cannot diagnose any veterinarian problems with your dog’s mouth. Please have any concerns checked by your veterinarian.
- Kinsbourne Groomers offer 2 types of treatment plans:
- The cost of the pay as you go subsequent/maintenance treatments visits will be charged at each appointment.
- The cost of the pre-paid plan / oral routine treatment must be paid in full at the initial consultation.
